Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using NaviCentra (navicentra.com), you agree to these terms. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly at support@navicentra.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
• Account access is role-based: administrators control who in their organization can see and edit which vessels and documents.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload to your workspace (vessels, certificates, documents, and other records). By uploading content you grant us the limited right to store, process, and display it solely to operate the service for you — including running AI-assisted processing you choose to use.

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the content you upload and for ensuring you have the right to store it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access accounts, vessels, or data you are not authorized to access.
• Upload malware, or use the service to interfere with other customers or the platform itself.
• Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or access controls.
• Use the service in a way that violates applicable law.

5. AI-assisted features

AI-assisted features propose extracted data and answers from your own workspace. AI output may be inaccurate and must be verified by a human before it is relied upon. NaviCentra is not a substitute for advice from classification societies, flag states, or qualified professionals. See the AI Transparency notes.

6. Service availability

We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance may cause brief downtime. We may also need to suspend access where required for security or legal reasons.

7. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms, for abusive or unlawful activity, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the service ends; your content is handled per our retention practices and applicable law.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
